Ugly Kid Joe were a rock band from Isla Vista, California, formed in 1989. Their name was a parody of Pretty Boy Floyd. They had mainstream hits with "Everything About You" and a cover of Harry Chapin's "Cats in the Cradle" in the early 1990s.
