Truth Decay

1991–2000

art rock experimental

Truth Decay was an art rock band from Houston involving Ralf Armin, Frank Garymartin, and Scott Ayers — all also members of the Pain Teens. The band appeared on the Infected: Twelve from Texas compilation in 1992 while its members were still active in Pain Teens. After the Pain Teens dissolved in the mid-1990s, Truth Decay continued as a primary project. The band released a single, "White Bunnies," on Charnel Music, with an accompanying music video filmed in Houston in 1997. In 1998 they issued a limited-edition hand-made CD-R called Sechs on their Schwarzfahren label. Truth Decay disbanded in 2000. Armin went on to the Vulgarians and later Swarm of Angels and Dead Roses.
