Spunk

1990–1999

punk hardcore

Spunk was a Houston punk band formed in 1990 fronted by Tod Waters. They played regularly at the Axiom and were known for full-on guitar-driven assault, old school punk rock vocals, and non-stop heart-pounding drums. The band released material on the Sound Virus and Last Beat labels, including the Sniffits 7" EP and their full-length album Texas. After the band ended, Waters moved to Los Angeles where he founded Junker Designs, a fashion label for Hollywood's rock-star elite, before eventually returning to Houston.
