Rubbur was a Houston band described by Houston Press as "quirky, New Wave-ish." Their track "Shame" was a standout on Fuzzgun Records' Nothing Is Cool: The Texas Compilation (1995). They also released a maxi-single called Nothing to Say on Fuzzgun Records, pressed on translucent yellow vinyl, featuring three live tracks alongside the studio cut.
