Johnny Winter was a blues and rock guitarist from Beaumont, Texas. One of the greatest blues guitarists of all time, his blistering slide guitar and high-energy performances made him a star in the late 1960s. He also produced three Grammy-winning comeback albums for Muddy Waters.
