Houston heavy alt-rock band, sometimes stylized as "goneblind." Formed around 1993, the racially diverse group became one of Houston's more popular bands through relentless local gigging, including regular appearances at Munchies on Richmond Avenue (bassist Mitch Burman eventually purchased the venue and it became Instant Karma). Their full-length debut I Come in Peace was released in 1996 on the local Reflektr label. They were nominated for Best Metal/Hard Rock at the 1998 Houston Press Music Awards. The band later signed to Roadrunner Records, releasing a self-titled EP in 2002. Gone Blind also served as the backing band on Scott Stapp's (ex-Creed) solo debut The Great Divide (2005).
