Fishbone were a ska, punk, and funk band from Los Angeles, California, formed in 1979. One of the most genre-defying bands of the 1980s and 1990s, they blended ska, punk, funk, metal, and soul with frenetic live energy. Their 1988 album Truth and Soul is a classic.
