Dirty Three were an instrumental rock band from Melbourne, Australia, formed in 1992. Featuring violinist Warren Ellis (who later joined Nick Cave's Bad Seeds), guitarist Mick Turner, and drummer Jim White, they created atmospheric, cinematic post-rock.
