400 Blows

400 Blows were a Houston roots rock band that played the Axiom circuit in the late 1980s. Along with The Van Goghs, they were local winners of the Snickers New Music Search. The Axiom compilation liner notes described both bands as playing "groove conscious roots rock." They contributed "Mudbone Wetfish" to the Axiom Volume I compilation LP in 1989.
